CADASIL (Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy w/Subcortical Infarcts & Leukoencephalopathy) is a rare, systemic, genetic blood disorder caused by a mutation on the Notch 3 gene, which blocks blood flow to tissue, primarily the brain. At this time, there is no cure.
